Are state Departments of Health Cap-Exempt?
Basically the title, I have an offer from Virginia Department of Health but they said they have no idea what a cap-exempt H1B is. Can someone let me know if a Department of Health is cap-exempt? Thanks! #h1b #2024H1B #h1bdata

You need a security clearance for most federal government positions, but not for work at the state or local level. I live in Virginia and those coveted positions (due to pensions) are unfortunately being filled by foreigners.

All I know about health departments is their Low TC :(
True that, but Iām gonna be kicked out of the country anyway and Iād rather get a cap exempt visa and stay rather than go through the day 1 CPT BS
But how will you get back on non cap exempt h1?
