Congress bans TikTok but there is still a major problem: the workers
Congress banned TikTok, yet turns around and issues tens of thousands of H1B visas as well as student visas to mainland Chinese people. Isn't that also a security threat? Having people who not only aren't loyal to the USA or their company but have a civic legal duty in their home country to feed relevant information and trade secrets home. To say nothing about the student researchers who funnel some of our most important scientific research out of the country. IMO those are way bigger threats I would also extend this revocation and ban to Russian and Iranian citizens.

I heard that most workers in TikTok US are Chinese. US can have benefits from banning TikTok. 1. Destroying the spying app 2. Removing the competitor 3. Revenge that China banned a lot of US companies such as Netflix, Youtube, etc 4. Return foreigners to their countries.
Wait until you see how many of them there are at Meta and Google
