Takes more than one term for congress to get to that abuse mode. Most institutions and bureaucrats are under bjpâs influence now. So not worried about congress jumping straight to abuse mode. Plus congressâ worst enemy is their own leaders. Their perennial infighting will make sure congress never gets to point of power where they can start abusing institutions. (We will never see a congress leader as powerful as IG again). Not saying congress is an angel, just saying they donât have the teeth to get to institutional Abuse mode. They also would if they could. Thatâs why we need alternating balance.
