How to transition to CV research?
Currently working on ML infra. No research experience, been out of university for 2 years now (did a course-based MS where we read a good amount of papers and did some projects). Want to eventually work in a research org. Primarily interested in 3D understanding/reconstruction. Any advice is appreciated.
start reading latest research papers. pay attention to names on articles; then contact these folks and ask if you can contribute in any way to their work another good way is to attend conferences and built network among cv professionals.
