Is monitor Deloitte career suicide?

Im currently working as an audit associate, holding a master's degree, and eager to shift into the consulting field. Recently, I stumbled upon a consulting opportunity at Monitor Deloitte. However, I'm grappling with concerns about whether this move might restrict my career path. Despite my passion for consulting and my experience with non- profits through SoComm and SBV, I've heard mixed opinions about how such experience is perceived in the consulting industry.
