Things I had wish I had known earlier in my career. The pandemic era niceties at the beginning of my career caused me to underperform in my new job, and Im now on a PIP. Wish it wasn't like this but I'm going to be without a job in 3 weeks in this ass market. Are there people in here who have been able to recover from situations like mine? I'm afraid that if I take a pay cut affording my current apartment is hard AF. Not sure if I'm good enough to get a role that pays similarly tho.
Are you at Meta?
People are coasting too hard, we get paid a lot to do good work.
