Do you ever get nervous taking a vacation?
I’m new to tech after a career switch. I have 2 years of experience as a developer at one company. I’m looking for a new job in NYC because I have to move there for personal reasons. Should I include my non-tech work background on my resume? It’s really empty without it. #jobs #resume
Wrong time to switch in tech
Yes, I think you should include it. Prioritize your dev experience and any personal projects you've done, and try to be more thorough about all that. But I'd say you can include your non-tech work to fill up remaining white space. It's also okay to have some white space, or idk make the font bigger so that your dev stuff takes up more space. Tech industry kinda sucks right now, but there are still some companies out there hiring. Good luck!
Thank you!
