Hi, I’m going to be working at the headquarters soon and was wondering what the dress code is like. Is a polo and sneakers fine?
It is fine as long as you are bringing your Lambo to work
We have strict green suit & black bowtie uniform to look like our website
1st day they’ll check your Nvidia logo tatoo
It’s like most tech in SFBA. There’s hardly a dress code. Hoodies, jeans, button down shirt, sneakers, casual, business casual, etc. I guess for your first day you don’t want to look like you don’t care so maybe a casual polo + nice jeans but after that, meh. No one cares.
I noticed coworkers dressing much nicer than other companies. I would frequently see folks wearing flip flops and shorts whereas Nvidia is more corporate dress. Wearing a hoodie I’ll feel out of place.
Are you at HQ? Definitely see hoodies especially from younger folk. Haven’t seen flip flops though. Maybe there’s slightly more formal dress here because of older engineers (especially HW) and the fact that managers are required to be in office but everyone else optional.
Dress whatever . Good hygiene , Clogne and deodorant will take you long way
Naked, but use deodorant
HR would like to have a conversation with you at 9am Monday. Wear clothes please.
Sure, and I would like $10M post tax but... this is not a wish concert ;-)
I'd imagine business casual.
Why?
Why not?
Wear cloths, you’ll be fine
I'm fully remote, so for me it's usually a collared shirt and no pants.
Black leather jackets
Leather jacket must be from leather from a fresh kill
