I've been in international tax for 9 years with experience at the Big4 and industry. Will be let go from my current job in 2 weeks. Been looking for new opportunities for a few months now and nothing has materialized. Thinking of transitioning out of tax. Anybody here been in a similar situation? How did you navigate pivoting into a new profession when you're at mid-career level of experience.
