I have given a splunk EM interview, and the recruiter was so responsive in scheduling and sharing details. After the loop, there was no response from the recruiter? Are they slow? is this a reject and move on? #tech

There is no “way Splunk is” - it’s all totally dependent on the hiring loop. It could be that someone was on vacation. It could be that people are distracted with the Cisco stuff closing in the last couple weeks. A slight delay doesn’t necessarily mean anything but it’s not exactly positive either.
The recruiter called me to inform me that there is no feedback from the loop yet.However, it is mentioned that if it is a reject, they usually close out and inform in two days . So it sounded positive, but waiting. Is splunk that fast in rejection?

I am in a similar position - I finished my loop about two weeks ago - following up with the recruiter everyday ! Have not heard back at all ! Not sure if it is a reject - she was super proactive during scheduling

Splunk is dead. Long live Cisco. Srsly, why would you consider a new role at a taken-over company?
Trying to find a new job as the current one gets effected as I see things not going well here.this is one of the companies that reached out after applying.looks like everyone is still hoping for good future even with merger.
Sure, future is good: however these are times where I think we will figure out what works and what not. Wait a bit more until you want to join Splunk/Cisco. Either way, that behaviour from HR is unacceptable but has become the industry standard. They chase you daily yet when you need an update, they never respond: not even with saying “hey we are not considering you for this”. Appalling and I hope one day they get treated just like they did with others… sorry this is happening to you
