Meta Data Science Onstie
I had my onsite for Data Scientist, Product Analytics (IC5) earlier this week. I did really well on the product case questions and the behavioral questions. My SQL interview went well I think, but was hard to get signal from the interviewer. However, I really struggled with the stats half of the execution interview. I had technical interview at Meta few months ago. Got product case question that I have already done few days before interview and 2 easy SQL questions. Did everything good, recruiter confirmed it at interview. I got rejection 1 hour later :) So did onsite interview with excellence is not enough in this market. It is a lottery.
Dang thats wild, sorry to hear that was your experience. I’ve had a whole business day in between so I am hopeful get lucky.
Can you tell me how I can prep for the interview?

Hi there, same boat here. Did my onsite early last week but still haven’t heard of a decision yet. I think I kind of messed up in my SQL round :( I heard if you got positive results of three rounds and one negative round, you will be asked to do an additional round- at least better than a rejection, right? Wish us good luck and fingers crossed! 🤞
What kind of stats questions did you get?
Basic probabilities pretty much, the hard part is decoding the question imo.
