Applicants don't turn into real petitions. A lot of times companies in India just put that $10 with no intention to file to attract employees
It should be $1000, not $10
The question you need to ask is, why US is not pausing the h1b for atleast an year given the economy?
Wdym H1B includes all speciality occupations from Mechanical engineers to physicians, Doctors and Rocket scientists., US should stop all that because few techies are jobless?
