I have saved a lot and have around 300k in cash + stock savings as well as around 100k in 401k. I’m 26. I’m not exactly sure, but I assume this is a lot of savings based on taking with friends. If that’s true, I feel lucky and would like to take advantage of it to maximize my ability to retire young. Does anyone have any advice for a situation like this? Should I just keep chugging in the corp world (though I kind of hate it), look into real estate, speak with a financial advisor? Would really appreciate any advice. Thanks! #investments #stocks
Keep going, ETFs, real estate and let compound math take care of the rest.
Also you haven’t posted TC but at our age probably the best way to increase net worth meaningfully is increasing your income :) Get to E7 by 30 and you’ll retire before 40 ;)
It’s a good amount but not that much to start talking to a financial advisor. I would say keep being aggressive with saving while not robbing yourself of great experiences or investing in your growth/learning/health. Anything that will help your be more successful and live longer. Invest regularly before spending every time your paycheck comes in. Now is a good time for stocks over real estate. Only keep a small amount in cash/emergency fund in a HYSA, invest the rest. Try to get to 1M first and then think about taking your gas off the pedal, compounding is the key and you want to let it snowball as much as possible for as long as possible. General: Don’t compare your wealth and feel you’ve made or are behind. Learn from those ahead while being grateful and generous with those that don’t have as much.
Couldn’t be said much better
Voo
Put it in the SPY and forget about it
DCA to VOO and chill. But keep up the corporate grind.
Real estate so you can do 1041 exchange and never pay taxes on gains.
There are a lot of good YouTube channels to check. Financial advisors will charge too much. Don't let your friends know about your savings/wealth next time you don't want to spend on something they'll judge you, also they don't tell the truth to you.
Wow lucky u
Not trying to brag or anything just lost on what 2 do
