Looking to buy a 2022 992 S. Found my dream spec and the price is not too bad. Now, my question to people who own a luxury/sport car. Do you drive it daily or just as a weekend car? I would love to drive it daily but even a thought about leaving it anywhere but my garage makes me sweat :) Does it mean I am going over my price range for a car? Or that’s normal and I should just use it for joyrides and don’t feel bad about it? I’ll make my own mind obviously but wanted to have a fun conversation.
Live your life. Drive the damn thing. Before you know it, you are gone.
100%. Just curious about others experiences.
Daily. Life’s too short to spend it driving a boring car.
YOLO. But sports car is different from luxury car.
A 992 is not a luxury car. It is a sports car. Very few people here actually own luxury cars (e.g. Bentley, Rolls Royce, Mercedes S-Class, etc) Any car can be a daily driver if you can live with the limitations and the running costs. Different people have different priorities. For a low sports car, you may want to consider things like speed bumps at places you frequent and things like that.
Why don’t you hire a driver to take care of your car while you’re away?
That’s what you’re doing I guess :) congrats on your stock appreciation!
Thank you! I am not rich enough for such expenses but if you have the money to purchase a luxury car, bear the running costs, why not spend on a driver too? It wouldn’t look good that you drive such a prestigious car on your own.
Only issue I find with such a fast car as daily driver is trickets. Even if you go at speed limit, jealous cops like to target practice. Otherwise great.
Beautiful, congrats! 🚘 🔥 Daily is a daily is a daily is a daily.
Thank you! It’s beautiful indeed but I haven’t pulled the trigger yet.
I’d absolutely daily it. Assuming I could buy one in the first place. I live in Seattle and don’t have a dedicated garage space right now so am currently settling for luxury SUVs I park on the street at this point. :(
Daily
Which one if it’s not a secret?
Corolla.
