Hello everyone, I work as a contractor for Amazon (not AWS org) and I have interviewed for full time L5 role with AWS. I had to do the full 4 interview loop. I think I killed it with the behavioral questions and all the non-system design technical rounds. For the system design round, I thought I designed my system to meet all the functional and non-functional requirements while constantly proving the interviewer (the to be manager for the role) for feedback. However, the interviewer didn’t really show any emotions on her face and kept asking clarifying questions on the design, so I am not sure if she understood it quite well or thought it wasn’t good. Also in my bar raiser interview the bar raiser loved me and said I’m doing phenomenally and I’ll do great at AWS. Do you think this is enough to land an L5 role given my prior experience with Amazon? Role: L5 with AWS in NYC Thanks!
Who knows, probably a down leveled based on how she kept asking clarifying questions.
