Just got scheduled for a surprise 1:1 with my skip today
It’s 15 minutes long! Am I getting fired. Lol. My boss is on vacation, but I haven’t met with my skip in at least a year I haven’t been doing my best at my job these last few months because of some family stuff (recent illness/death 😢) and honestly a lot of burnout since last year. I used to be a high achiever but now I’m always behind and having to apologize for things. Watcha think?? I hate this! ETA: was just a stern talking to lol. Gotta start doing better 🥲

It was just a talking to about some feedback I’d gotten re missing some meetings! 😭 I’m working on multiple teams so I have overlapping meetings a lot of the time. So thankful to have a job today 😮💨
