The performance of the stock and to new shareholders is pathetic. The only reason Elon works as hard as he did was for the 2018 performance based bonus. With twitter he’s not giving his all to Tesla and the recent announcement of robotaxis was not the best in my opinion. A mass market model 2 is needed to combat the low quality Chinese evs and bring greater economies to electric cars. Cyber truck is a mess. While I say this looking at rivian which a has much more potential in this space. Seems like the truck is impractical to build.

Not ready for prime time. Used it in a very good infra environment it’s basically a Cruze control ++ from my POV.
Does Cruze control stop at traffic lights? Stop signs? Does it take turns? Can it change lanes? FSD is almost there. It’s about time now.
Most of Tesla’s success can be attributed to various senior execs (Model 3, Supercharger network, etc). When Elon gets directly involved (Model 3 “automation”, factory tents) things tend to go to shit. The more he digs his claws into micromanaging everything the more things will go to shit
He needs to have trust in teams. It’s not there. As a ceo he’s too involved or not involved at all, there is a lack of balance from him.
