Any recommendations/solutions to reduce snoring? I am looking for first hand experiences. Husband’s snores are louder than a Shelby and I am at my limit. TC: 330k
Get a sleep apnea test done. My results came back as “mild to moderate”. Have been able to resolve to a large degree with nose strips from Amazon.
> “louder than a Shelby” 😂😂😂😂 ma’am You can try recommending the breathe right strips first, see how it goes. Most people have a deviated septum which causes this. Surgery to correct the deviated septum might be the last option
I snored horribly for years. Drove wife crazy. Finally I took my health seriously, started eating healthy, lost 35 lbs, and snoring went away.
Make him lose weight
Lose weight , exercise, limit alcohol before bed If does not work - earplugs
Same with my husband, we now sleep in separate rooms. Following advice from others although I think if he lost weight it would help
Sleep doctor. Get tested for sleep apnea. Losing weight would take time and needs guidance.
My spouse snores crazy we now sleep in seperate rooms
Ever since I started wearing a mouthpiece, I have been snoring less and the sleep quality has improved. I use one from vital sleep.
How will a hairbrush help reduce snoring? The only way I can think of is breaking my husband’s nose with it but that’s like the last resort.
So normally snoring happens when you sleep on your back which results in airway blockage. Sleeping on your side is much better and less noisy. So you should train your body to sleep on its side. And normally it is done by introducing some discomfort when you sleep on your back. Like taping a soft hair brush or ball on your back. Nothing that wakes him up completely.
Cpap .. refer to sleep medicine doctors . He may be suffering from Sleep Apnea. My husband sleeps better and is more rested without snores after this
Cpap for sure ! Get tested for sleep apnea
+1 going to get tested next week too
