Team lead tracking days worked in office

So, my team lead's got us logging every minute - whether we're in the office, WFH, or doing the half-and-half dance. But here's the million-dollar question: Is HR actually scanning through these reports, or are they just paperwork? On one hand, it makes sense for HR to want a handle on how we're adapting to this hybrid setup. But on the other, it feels a bit like Big Brother is watching. What are other corporate banking employees doing?

Depends on your company. I think for me, my bonus might get docked if I miss a bunch of in office days

Sounds like your team lead has nothing better to do unless you're boss asked him to do it

HR shouldn't care. Your boss is a micromanager and Needs To Know where everyone physically is at all times.

If you want it to end, ask HR why you have been reclassified as an hourly employee and how to submit your prior unpaid overtime.
