Traveling with a dog
I have a dog and based in NYC. I frequently travel to India for a month at a time. Is there a way I can travel with my dog? What is the cheapest way to leave them for a month long hostel ? I live in nyc and travel to Canada for weeks at a time I just bring my dog all I have to show is rabies vaccine Not sure what the rules are for India but by neighbours take their dog to India and fly with a stop over to London to give their dog a break
Thanks, my main concern is what certifications do I need to get done in India before flying back to US with them. I was reading somewhere US immigration requires a vet certificate from India obtained within a week before flying date. Re entering the US is what I am concerned about with documentation and certification for the dog. Also, Rover gets really expensive for a month, at 100 dollars a day in NYC. So I was curious are there cheaper month long boarding options that will cost significantly lesser than 3000?

They travel much less frequently, and for shorter durations, than “frequently going to India for one month at a time”
