incorrect porting of the priority date on i140?
Does anyone have experience with incorrect portability of their priority date on i140? My friend eb1a got approved a month back, and it seems the approved eb1a had an incorrect priory date, which is when it was submitted. She has 2 eb2 i140 dates with the correct priority date of Jan 2018, which makes her current. Should she wait until the eb1a priory dates are corrected#workvisa in the approval letter i140 document or can she file AOS? Lawyer say it can take 6 months to correct it. #workvisa #h1b #eb1a
Couple of years back, had a similar situation. Eb3 downgrade had wrong priority date. Lawyers got it corrected. It was definitely less than 6 months.
Was it in a few weeks ?
My bad. I checked the timeline. It was indeed more than 6 months.
