I’m a TPM looking to shift to a fully remote gig - either technical or otherwise. I hear that Microsoft job postings that indicate up to 100% remote are truly remote eligible but I have some questions: 1) what’s the time off policy like? Max days off, accrual path, etc? How’s your wlb? 2) how does work flow into the teams and how is it prioritized? This is my biggest qualm with my current company, the priorities shift fast - not in an agile way, but an inefficient one. 3) how does the technical vs standard product management role differ at Microsoft? Also interested in referrals or interview tips if y’all are so inclined. I’m relatively early on in the field and am always open to constructive advice.
