As a mother how difficult it would be to commute to Seattle from eastside? I've been working Remotely and I'm scared I would be awfully tired by the end of the day or cannot pick up kid on time from daycare due to traffic. I don't like my current boss that is why I am thinking of changing company at least to bump up my salary.
How old is your kid?
I have the reverse commute from Seattle to east side and I see the dark red traffic on your side every day. Clearly some people are okay with that but that is soul crushing to me. If the new light rail line doesn't go to where you need to go, or if the pay at the new job is anything less than incredible, I wouldn't consider it. On a positive note, the commute back to the east side in the afternoons is usually clear of traffic for you.
