This is for a director role. They want to know what my expectations are. Gave me their standard range, RSUs, plus bonus and wants to know what my expectations are in the very first email. Is this standard practice? I would have thought this'd come up later in the stage #dataanalytics
Recruiters ask this all the time. For some positions they may not have too much room to negotiate so they may want to learn if the expectations are closer to the current ranges. If they are not too low then you may ask to continue with the interviews and then discuss the total compensation.
Thanks. I wasn't expecting thus at this stage for a director role. If it is standard practice, and not a red flag, that's good.
