When my girlfriend is with her friends or colleagues, she introduces me by saying, “Hey, look at him, he’s so handsome. I love his hair.” Whenever we meet her friends or anyone else, she often behaves like this. Sometimes, she takes a hat or jacket from her friend, asks me to try it on, and then tells me how good I look in it. All of this makes me uncomfortable. I’ve mentioned it to her, but she doesn’t stop. If she has a drink or two, it gets even more out of hand, and she might say this to any random person or the bartender. I’m not sure how to handle or address this situation without being rude. We have been in relation for 2 years.
You should try and become less anxious in your own skin. You’re throwing away a good one. I say this as a cave dwelling introvert myself.
Is she also very possessive?
Yess
I know someone like that. He was good looking actually but used to get so embarrassed when wife would praise him. And she was possessive as hell. Infact she used one of my friend to spy on him at work. Because the husband name dropped a female co-worker few times and wife wanted to know if it was indeed professional or something more was going on
she genuinely loves you
WTF put on somebody’s jacket or hat. I think your gf is crazy. And she should not do it if you dont like that.

Misdiagnosed As a Child
Bruh, you're one of the lucky ones. Stop whining about being loved.
As an introvert, being put on the spot in front of others is quite uncomfortable for me. I’m all for personal compliments when we’re alone
