Don’t care about getting green card anymore!!

I honestly don’t care about the green card anymore. It’s no longer that appealing. India has far outpaced US in terms of salary growth in the past few years. The one thing I would have like US immigration to fix is ease of travel status, so we can move freely outside the country with out worrying about finding visa slots. I missed very important events, even my wife’s grandmothers funeral due to no visa slots available. Edit: I am not complaining that the system is unfair to Indians or Chinese etc. I am just saying that atleast make traveling in/out of US flexible. It’s hard to find visa slots and it’s taking almost 40+ days for your visa to be approved and receive passport. This is causing so many problems for folks to travel.

Why don’t you relocate back to India?

Many will relocate back to India. And they’ll take with them all the money they made here in US.

Yes, you should go back when you still can

It doesn’t sound good when you are staying in US and blaming the country. Either you leave or stop complaining.

Lol, you’re basically saying give me a GC without giving me GC

I see this as a trickle right now, but in the next 10 years this could be a real trend. I am not saying everyone will go back. But rather the incoming and outgoing ppl will be balanced. Ppl will shift between India and US for career just like they do between CA and TX - some preferring one over the other

Exactly this is important, greencard is no more appealing, just make travel easy for us. This is the least they can do.
