Should I renege Snap for Apple (Intern)?
Title. I accepted a Snap SWE summer intern offer a while back and recently got an Apple intern offer. I'm very tempted to renege my Snap offer and accept the Apple one, especially since I already interned at Snap last summer. I'm just wondering if this is too impulsive/ the best decision since I'll be burning that bridge. This is also my final internship before heading into full-time. Would love to hear some input on this and it's suggested I go forth with my idea. I can't move either to fall or some other season, so that won't be an option. #swe
Real question is who converts intern to a full time offer
A lot of interns at Apple did not get return offer due to low headcount
This happens at Snap. Pretty sure it will again soon with how it's going.
I did this before for a good internship and I’m glad I did. I ended up working at the company I reneged a few years later so I doubt you’ll get blacklisted.
Do it. Trust me.
I think you should go for Apple so you have experience in two every different companies early on , although for a full time position I’d honestly go for snap
Don't just look at the poll results, which already tell you to go to Apple. Look how many Snap people here are telling you to avoid this place, compared to the lack of Apple people saying the opposite. Oh yeah, and their higher review rating on here. Go with the smart choice.
Push one of the offers to the next semester. Do both
Run to Apple.
Real question, is snap still going to exist in 10 years?
