Currently it’s FOMO among Indians as they think housing never goes down.
Seems like every seller is putting any random number as a price to sell.. no logic behind it ..
It's generally a marketing number to get maximum eyeballs on the listing
The bay is absolute mid ri The only and tall getting scammed
Mass immigration, extreme unnecessary money printing are to blame and years of insufficient home construction. If the US and other countries want to fix inflation in the housing market, the demand side needs to be tamed immediately (increase interest rates to 8-10%), then builders need to be encouraged/incentivised to build massive amounts of new homes, especially in HCoL areas. Builb build build! Since builders are not building its time for government to step in and encourage massive amounts of construction. Give incentives to build quality but lower cost homes. Make builders hit targets to get the incentives, such as only get tax breaks or other incentives if 100k home are build per year and most near HCoL areas. (Because building in LCoL doesn't solve the problem). Also, speed up permit approval and reduce fees to reduce the barriers to construction projects. Encourage new small builders by giving tax breaks, easy access to loans... again all with targets to be achieved to get the incentives. Encourage
Glenmore is not a great neighborhood... Feels like an overpay..
Can’t wait for all these Bay Area towns to lose their NIMBY rights when builders remedy kicks in. I don’t care for me, I already bought, but I vote for housing routinely while my neighbors oppose it. Reckoning is coming for them.
Losing NIMBY might make them more valuable. SFH in non-SFH areas is even more valuable. Look at Sunnyvale and MV.
Wow, these are so affordable! Hard to find anything sufficient under 4 in the South Bay
Actually Fremont builds a ton of new housing relative to the Bay. However these are all townhomes, thus making SFHs a scarcity.
The amount Fremont builds is not a ton.
I’m not from America so I always wonder, when you buy a house like the ones listed here does it come with all the furniture and decor from the pictures 😍?
No
There actually are homes that are sold “complete” .. furnished by professional interior designers. I hired a team and spent 300K on ours. They told me about ultra high NW clients (professional athletes, C level executives, celebrities) that have bought homes that even included fine silverware, linens and toiletries
1.8M for 95123 🤢
The Fremont neighborhood isn't good either
