Friend sold his house and depressed now
He sold it in 2020 and the price has increased from 800k to 1.3m since then. He moved to a near rental apartment, unfortunately. He would have had 500k more if he sold it today. His tc is 85k, so he won’t be able to save 500k in his lifetime. The selling time completely changes his life,so miserable. He feels depressed nowadays, especially when he walks past front of the house from bus stop. Currently he has only 300k now. It’s hard to buy another house with current market and interest rates. Any one experiencing similar?
