Do companies like CVP really hire their clients' kids for internships? My sister heard this from somewhere and got super frustrated.
Yes - very common practice
Obviously
Officially? No.
Very common in consulting/accounting.
Officially no but happens all the time A lot of the time the kids are worth it tho. I interned with a VPās son, he was really smart
Microsoft has an internal policy about this and you lose both your job and the vendor gets dropped.
Small boutiques like center view certainly do. Itās the game. Donāt waste your time pretending these companies care about egalitarianism. They care about making money and keeping their top rainmakers around. Youāll have better luck at the big companies like jpmorgan/Morgan Stanley if you want a āfairerā hiring process
Hell yeah
Very common in tech as well.. investorās kids get internships and jobs wayyyyyy more easily
They do.
