Prioritize money. Invest. Max out 401K. Buy real estate. Rent shit. In mid-30s with only 3.5 Million $ NW. Most of my friends or peers are above that. Without money, you're fucked in life.

Mid 40s with nw of 200k. AMA. But seriously...look at life insurance while your in your 20s or 30s. Not 10 year term but whole life ins. As they say in insurance firms...it'll never be cheaper than today. It's often overlooked but crucial to have as a safety net that also doesn't cut into savings for family support or future spouse. Congrats on your savings thus far.
Whole life insurance is a scam!!
Okay, I've heard whole-life is scam, with a small exception of high earnings being able to use some particular tax loophole. But no one has ever told me that loophole. Do you have any info on that? Because I have my mind set to default "scam" unless someone can tell me why it's not.
