Hello friends, I will be honest I’m a very nerdy guy who has zero skills speaking to women. I used to be good at academics, but my TC isn’t all that special (190k in HCOL), so I just kind of assumed I would never get married and decided to grind on my work (I spend most weekends on YouTube or just working). Then as I came of age, my parents started pestering me about arrange marriage and I was honestly very nervous and felt there’s no need to do that, I had no burning desire for a family, my relationship with blind was the only one I needed. Then when they shared me her photos, my jaw dropped. She literally looked like she was in the top 5% of women I went to school with, she was easily better than anyone I saw in college (since I went to a top institution in my country, there were less than 10% females). I thought this was a trick. Then I met her, and she looked as good as her pictures, she also had a friendly personality when I spoke to her. I’ll be honest, since I am a KHV, I’ve never had any female friends, I’m really worried this is some sinister ploy designed to ruin my life, what do you guys think? #dating #marriage #relationships
You need to learn some skills how to maintain a relationship. It may not be too hard to start it if your parents are helping. But it’s not easy to maintain any relationships if you don’t have good communication skills and openness toward your partner

But still, talk to the girl as much as possible to make sure you understand each other and try to get an idea about compatibility. PS: Don't be blinded by the looks. Look deeper.

If you don't have a desire for family will you have a desire to have a family with her? Is this just a thing of - I can never get a person like this on my own, so I want it? Figure all that out. Also develop your own social skills. Part of why you haven't is that you know your parents will bail you out.
Propose that you want a low key family only wedding. Make excuses that you can’t take much time off and have to return quickly, see how she/her side reacts. See if they are investing as much in the wedding as you are. Make sure visa appointment is lined up accordingly wrt the wedding.
