Target is midpoint of the range. Only 1-2% of the folks in the senior sde bands will get 30% bonus.
If you’re comparing comps, you should also take into account California state income tax for Nvidia, whereas Microsoft won’t have any state income tax since it’s in Washington.
What team in Microsoft? Some team is very toxic and not worth it
Awesome to see Nvidia offers coming through. A lot of folks are paused at offer stage due to hiring freeze/headcount revaluations
Can you shed light on the interview process? Nvidia no brainer, MSFT is very ho hum, and moving to Seattle from Bay area is a downgrade. Bay area has so many companies, your upside is much higher. When was the last time a Seattle tech company went public? Outside of Amzn, Msft not many great companies when compared to bay area

Avoid Microsoft, unless you enjoy no life with security patches (aka security waves)
Msft bonus at your level will be 15% and stock will be 25K refreshers vesting over 5 years. Nvidia otoh has no bonus in general, only stock refreshers
