Is it a good time to join Delivery Hero in Berlin, Germany? I can see posts about partial Asia business being sold plus share prices not at the best time. I have an offer but i don’t want to join just to get laid off! Can any employee shed some insights. Thanks Current TC: 100K USD/Year

I worked there before. Selling business was constant, they acquire just as much silently without the media. We launched in at least 1 new country ever 1.5 month on average. That's almost 9months ago, maybe things have changed drastically I can't say.

Depends on the tribe/squad. I like it a lot, I work with interesting stuff and I am learning a lot. I don’t see a risk of layoffs, the company is doing well despite the stock price

Yes, but they keep on changing teams until they find a team where you are not comfortable and are not at all interested in the work. You work output falls and then you are laid off!!
Definitely not a good time to join DH, unless you have a high risk tolerance. Laying off employees, especially during the probation period is a very common thing.

Not in my opinion ,in past 8 months 80% people joined the org , unable to complete their probation period , they got fired.

There is surely uncertainty in different departments including the q-commerce business. We have been hearing murmurs about some silent “mutual” layoffs happening.
