My heart breaks for the laid off employees. For all the ex-Convoy employees whose hearts now suddenly broke for their now-unemployed former colleagues, we know you're just too gleeful you'd jumped that ship before it sinked, lol.
RIP. 🪦 The first of many?
definitely. i see outreach fast following. all late stage startups that need additional cash are in serious trouble
What's Convoy?
Rehearsing for LinkedIn post?
Instacart takes the victory here. Fidji was wise to go IPO this year since they saw it coming that the funds would dry up. Better to go IPO than result in Convoy case. Sometimes it gets too late to be acquired too and no matter what high level connections you have as being Bezos backed or so called best talent who has a lot of entitlement, taking the right decisions are the right time is what matters.
What happened?
Convoy shut down.
Hahahahaha
