I got an offer from Coursehero for a Senior Software Engineer TC: 220K + 15k stock options Location: Bay Area YOE: 6 yrs Are the lowballing me? Indeed shows a higher average price for this position.

For the record, I'm a senior engineer at Course Hero and make about 170k TC. Your offer seems good to me, but I've been here for a bit and am probably underpaid.
I am yet to get offer for Canada, so I assume it might be much lower @OP By the way how does stock option work here, and why its that low, generally private companies/startups offer higher on that side as they not very liquid or quantifiable ?
