Like pay/team etc is good, but you have to necessarily go to the office 5 days/wk.
Team has to be amazing. If forced to be with them 5 days a week, this is non negotiable . One bad apple and I would decline. So likely I’d decline….
Manager would also have to be good as well.
I work remotely and most of my colleagues have inflated ego and low key toxic. If people I worked with were genuinely good then yes, I wouldn't mind going into office. But if it's same set of people then I would rather keep my distance.
I'm 100% remote still, so it would probably need to be a 40-50% pay increase, be located within an hour, and allow me to leave by 4pm at the latest.
5 days a week is tough considering most of us have been accustomed to remote the past 3 years and recently 2/3 days, I personally could not do it unless I lived walkable distance to office. Then again, different strokes for different folks.
Remote, making $580k TC, so it has to be really really good and paying more than $850k+ guaranteed for me to consider 5 days in office.
Hell no. Fully remote or bust. There is no company worth going into the office for. TC: 105K, fully remote forever
I voluntarily go into the office 5 days/week, so this is easy.
No even if I get job at Google Last week rejected G due to no permanent WFH, sundar is stupid
Two years ago I would have said "No way!", but I've been remote so long now that the office doesn't sound bad.
