Do you really fucking think that opening ad without user intention is a good idea for a product? Fire your dumb products and engineers, they all deserve to be fired for this shit product decision.
I am surprised this doesn't infringe Google/Apple app stores policies.
Good point. Let’s report them and get their google ads account banned lol
If every blind user just went to the App Store and rated the app 1-star, that’d probably help blind app to change it
They are not doing any charity work either, How would they maintain this app if it is used for free, why don't you do same cribbing about Google and Facebook ads
Because Facebook doesn’t fake and force clicks on the users behalf?
Every time I open this app, ads get clicked multiple times taking me to some browser page. Never have I ever once intentionally clicked an ad in this app. And none of these “clicks” would have ever triggered an ad click in any other social media app. Even worse, I’ve had my thumb on my screen before (stationery, not moving to go up or down the feed), and my feed starts moving on its own to get the ad to be under my thumb.
Ads?
I have never once intentionally clicked an ad here but have opened probably 20+ on accident. When they open sometimes I go back and it automatically re opens without any interaction 3-4 times. Insane
Yup, same. Complete shit experience.
> 2024 > not using ad block
What do you think about Tinder ads, where you essentially "match" with ads? Probably the worst ad concept ever, next to the 2m youtube ads
i love when blind ads pause my music
Why fire the engineers for a shit product decision?
Hopefully their next update is a tiktok feed built into blind
