I just figured it all out. I’m a gut person, which lets me intake a ton of information but doesn’t give me good recall of that information. It all goes into the gut bank, and I make decisions based on the gut, instead of specific anecdotes or effable logic. This is as opposed to a brain person, who can also intake a lot of information, but is more rational and decisive because they lean on specifics. They think gut people are dumb.
The gut is always right, but can never articulate why. The brain is often wrong, but always has a logical proof as to why it's right.

Nahhhh. The gut is wrong more often than the brain. And when they do, it’s always the same bullshit “but I had a feeling”
You do realize when you say “gut” in this context, it isn’t literally coming from the gut, right? 🤦🏽♂️
That’s really interesting
You're talking about the limbic system vs pre-frontal cortex. The former is emotional, quick and irrational, while the latter is rational, slow and deliberate. The former thinks of ideas and problems, while the latter looks for solutions and verifies them. It's what makes you deliberately walk away from a lucrative offer in relationships with traits of past abusive behaviour. So don't blindly trust the gut, rather have its idea verified by the brain and then take a decision.
the brain is severely emotional and will logically convince you that wrong is right. hence why so many smart people have addictions. easier to justify to yourself using your brain
OP probably believes in horoscopes and myers-briggs types too
Wtf
I'm a more of a T&A man
Weird, I think anecdotes and logic also come from the gut, at least it feels that way to me. I like anecdotes and reasons for doing things.
Good for you for making a note about your gut health here 👏
Know if all people, of course, think they know it all. Even though a simple Google search will tell them gut has half a billion neurons and connected through nerves to brains.
Gut is also where farts come from.
