H1B Grace period question
Asking for a friend, who was laid off in Nov 2023. He found a job after being officially unemployed for 42 days. Unfortunately, he is again going to get laid off coming Monday. How many days he will have to get a job before having to self deport? Does the 60 days quota refresh after each employment period or is there any condition to it? We are unable to find any proper information about it online.

If H1 was transferred and approved after being laid off for the 1st time then u have another 60 days.
Yes for each H-1B 60 days quota refreshes
