Instagram's new AI search experiment
Meta added their chat gpt styled chat bot in instagram's search tab, messenger in instagram and whatsapp. Their recent addition to the search tab is so ridiculous: who tf wants to chat to a bot in instagram's search!!!!!!! Who was the - PM who came up with this idea š? - director at meta who pushed for this idea? Since there is no way to remove the search bar, there is a reddit thread on this change where people are discussing uninstalling the app because it is ruining their search history experience or trying to find ways to disable this. To the leadership at companies, please don't try to push chat gpt or ai styled responses everywhere unless it adds an actual value to the product. Especially when it ruins the legacy experience that the user is used to. And please give the user an option to disable this BS.
