Lacework getting acquired at huge discount
Been a few weeks since the last thread - any updates? What were the terms? Still 4x on 130m ARR? Tc 300

Our management is neither accepting nor denying. So we are far from knowing anything.
Terms will be public soon but it doesn't matter for anyone on Blind - 0 for all options, key employees get some retention/carveout and all the cash ($800M + acquisition proceeds) go to investors (acquisition price just determines how much of a loss they take). Palo tried to acquire several times in the past (but fell through due to sabotage on both sides) but will set a floor for Wiz here.
What did Palo offer those other times?
How many people are considered “key employees”? Like 10 or 100?
