Book flights departing on Mon Tue Wed Thu Fri Sat Sun are expensive If you are okay, have 2-3 stops Non stops or 1 stop are expensive If you are okay, have a layover of >10 hours Flights during summer holidays and winter holidays are expensive, avoid those times Don’t travel during holiday times Flights are expensive. Thanks to inflation

Fly from JFK, LAX, SFO.. fly southwest to these airports and self connect. Bit of a hassle but works out cheaper for a family of 4.
