Non-technical, non-contributing liability on the company. They just schedule meetings. Most are liberal arts people. Product management will die in 5 years. Microsoft will accelerate the demise of this function.
Yup. I was shocked to see bar being so low. In my last mid sized ad tech company, tpms would actually contribute to technical discussions. Here there're all about small talks, sharing cultural events.
