Moving from Canada to US

Couple with two kids, both in tech Vancouver, mortgage and comfortable lifestyle. Is still worth to move to US (Seattle) or anywhere? Anyone that made the move could give me the honest opinion. We’re not Indians. TC: combined 360k

If all your kids are in kindergarten or later, it's definitely worth it. Otherwise the cost of day care or preschools will eat all the extra comp you'll get. Send me a message if you have questions. I made similar move .

That is what I’m thinking, also housing owing seems to me quite expensive.

Housing is less expensive here than Seattle. I found that the increased comps more than makes up for the cost of living... Once kids are in elementary school

Why not? It will be a great experience and if you don't like it in the US, you can always move back to Canada.
