What happens when most of your team is Indian?
I applied to a role at PwC that I thought I was perfect for and 2 hours later they rejected me. I applied through a referral, is there something that I’m missing? They don’t provide any feedback so I don’t even know what was wrong with my resume. Appreciate any help. #recruiterhelp
How close to the hiring manager was the person who referred you? Were they close and they reached out on your behalf or was it a blind referral through the system? Sounds like with this quick of a turnaround they likely already had a preferred candidate in mind. Disclaimer: not a recruiter but i consistently vouch/refer alums in my network
The person referring me was from blind so not sure how close they are to the hiring manager. But it makes sense they had already found their candidate to reject my application so quick.
It's highly likely they have the hire already lined up and are required by the state to post the job for a period of time before hiring the person and closing it
I doubt that a human reviewed your resume
They most not think very highly of the person who referred you 🤣
Automated Already about to be closed position Are some of the options. Don’t think much - move on.
You might have dodged a bullet. PwC might have to pay billions in the lawsuit for the Evergrande bankruptcy
Oh wow! Had no idea, need to look into it. Thanks!
😂😂😂🤦🏻♂️
Might have not passed the filter thresholds. Or the position is a ghost. Or its a formality for an already filled position. Or it’s in the midst of being closed.
This isn’t any ghosting. Don’t listen to this bs. Referral only helps you to have an interview. You won’t get a job because you know someone. Everybody goes through the same process. HM didn’t like you or they think your skills are not good enough or they selected different(better) candidate.
I know referrals don’t get you the job automatically. I’m only using referrals to get to the interview stage. After that I know I could get any job, it’s just getting to the interview stage is the hard part right now.
In today’s market, it is hard to get a job. Sometimes, I see like 2k candidates that applied to a single vacancy.
post your resume dude it probably just sucks ass tc 500k
Ghost jobs
The job was posted yesterday, is that still a ghost job?
