Any of you ever experienced somniphobia ~ fear of sleep. For me it’s just so hard to fall asleep some nights I just pull off all nighters and go the day on caffeine. It's not so much a fear of sleep as it is a frustration with the inability to achieve a restful night's sleep. It feels like a perpetual cycle, with each passing hour of midnight only serving to highlight my ongoing struggle to drift off, as I reach for my phone yet again, still wide awake.
Yes, in fact I'm contemplating going to the office. It's 3:30am local time. I've just been trying to sleep for hours, but couldn't. Such a waste of time.
Haha I’m contemplating the same thing right now 😭
Don’t you just wish it was 3:30 pm local time ?!
Do lot of exercise and get tired. I just sleep without knowingly
This works for me.
OP: You SHOULD visit a Primary Care Physician asap. You might have/about to go down a path requiring serious medical attention. Set up some time with your therapist or psychiatrist. Hope it helps!
Try melatonin?
You’re supposed to begin your day instead of returning back to sleep and then try going to bed at a set time. Resolve your anxiety via healthy outlets. That’s what’s waking you up.
I have been through that phase e than once in my life. Take melatonin for a few weeks until you get your sleep rhythm back
