Have a scheduled interview with them. not sure about their tech and revenue potential, and whether they are just an AI hyped company? Can anyone provide insight? for example, how does using ML to label training data for ML even work? how’s their pay like? TC: 380
this is why i hate blind…
They recently got acquired
Interesting. Care to share sources?
no?
It’s legit, had a friend who used to work there
They put out a blog post a few years ago that was a little more digestable than some of the original papers and sort of talks through the intuition for how you can use models to label data to train even better models (https://snorkel.ai/how-to-use-snorkel-to-build-ai-applications/). Their AI chops are sound- Chris Re is a genius and Alex says smart stuff on LinkedIn that gets lots of engagement. Business-wise, I think they have a pretty high price point (e.g. tens of million dollar deals with banks and stuff, rather than thousands of hundred dolalr deals).
thank you. very helpful! their rev is $4M for a $1B valuation company… kinda too low in my opinion. i also dont see how big companies cant just copy paste the whole idea for their own internal system
No way that rev number is accurate... have you seen how much they're hiring? You don't have almost 40 roles open at their stage unless you've got the cashflow to support it.
I had a friend quit due to burnout after working there. He said the founder is a brilliant guy but he is too much of a perfectionist and tries to push for too many features without regards to timeline
