Tesla layoffs

Tesla had layoffs like the rest of the industry. I agree that working culture is hard at Tesla but so are many other startups. Why do Tesla employees keep posting about they are the best and most innovative? Most of the ex-Tesla employees that I have worked with either drive dirty politics in a company or are good at giving technical speeches that even they themselves don't know how to implement. So why so much buzzzzzz?

For the people voting "true", what's your interpretation of true? Is it true that they drive the politics or it is true that they are actually innovative?

How are they not innovative? Look at every single legacy car company right now? Compare that to the technology of a Tesla. How could you not call features like steer by wire or touch screens that actually function, non innovative? The legacy car manufacturers have been around for over a century and don't have sh*t to show for it after billions in bailouts and decades to perfect and innovate features. It's pathetic.

To be fair, Tesla of the past was very innovative. 2012 Teslas were decades ahead of 2012 EVs. Most EVs after Tesla were heavily influenced by them (large screen, panoramic roof, better looking, more range, better charging, amazing driver assistance tech) Early 2010s non Tesla EVs were FUGLY and have unusable range and charging With all that being said, Tesla hasn’t done much since then. Competition have more attractive vehicles with better range and comparable driver assistance tech now. Tesla is slowly becoming just another car company
