Does a liquidity event need to happy after the two year period? Or one can sell in the secondary market?
You can’t cash out unless you have been at the company for more than two years. Only a small percentage of employees have been here that long
What if you left after a year? Can you cash out if you waited another year after you left?
Theoretically yes but you need the companies permission to sell your shares
